About

Emily Macduff (b.1995) is a representational oil painter from Scotland.

As an award winning artist Emily frequently participates in international art residencies, and was, for example, working in Seville and Rome last year, and although she is represented by several galleries at home in Scotland, it was a real highlight when, in 2017, her painting Portrait in Burgundy was shown at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) 125th Annual Exhibition, Mall Galleries, in London.

Shortly thereafter, Emily was commissioned to paint the portrait of Professor Dawn Oliver who is the first female Treasurer of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, London; that portrait was unveiled in October 2018.
